Suranga Tennakoon is a dynamic motivational speaker, leadership trainer, and corporate consultant dedicated to inspiring individuals and organizations to achieve excellence through sustainable leadership and personal development.As the Managing Director of Sustainable Leadership Management (Pvt) Ltd, he conducts impactful motivational speeches, leadership development programs, outdoor team-building sessions, corporate training workshops, executive coaching sessions, and youth empowerment initiatives across Sri Lanka and internationally. His professional journey began in the hospitality industry as a trainee room attendant at Hilton Colombo, where he developed strong foundations in discipline, customer service, leadership, and people management. Through commitment, continuous self development, and professional excellence, he steadily progressed into senior leadership positions, holding responsibilities as General Manager, Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Managing Director within leading local and international organizations across Sri Lanka and the Middle East.
Today, Mr. Suranga Tennakoon is recognized as an international motivational coach and keynote speaker who annually conducts training sessions, leadership programs, and executive coaching sessions for over 25,000 participants globally, representing more than 250 companies and industrial sectors. He has inspired corporate professionals, university students, entrepreneurs, managers, and youth leaders through transformative learning experiences focused on leadership, motivation, communication, team building, customer relationship management, and personal development. He has also participated in major international business conferences and leadership forums in countries such as Japan, India, Singapore, and across the Middle East.
His academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Management and Science University (MSU), a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University College, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), a Higher Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality & Economics Management from the University of Colombo, and certification as a Lead Trainer from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
